has changed venues and moved to Cruzan Amphitheatre. The main stage was packed, altough it was not the permanent stage at the amphitheatre. Rather the 2 main stages were set up in the field north. Second and third stages were set up alternately on the split amphitheater stage. Street Sweeper Social Club, the new band unifying Tom Morello (formally with Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave) and Boots Riley (best known as the leader of The Coup), kicks off their tour opening for Nine Inch Nails and Janes Addiction tonight in West Palm Beach, Florida. Rolling Stone.com stated that SSSC are “…its own foot-stomping, teeth gnashing beast.” Their debut self-titled album of self-described “revolutionary party jams” will be out June 16th through Warner Music Group’s Independent Label Group. The 11-song set was produced by Tom Morello and features Boots Riley on vocals, Morello on guitar and bass, and Stanton Moore (Galactic) on drums. Check out more pics on SFFP.
